Ever heard someone’s voice and the first thing that crossed your mind was “out of this world”?, well if you didn’t, read this review and you’ll know that such voice truly exists … Nadia Ali, Much more than music full of feelings.

Nadia Ali, maybe a name that you heard about many times before, but I am not sure if many of you listened to her songs or watched any of her performances, whether in her solo career or with her former band IIO.

MUSE, different flavor of boy bands Print E-mail
Written by Dina Elgawish
Facebook!

A British rock/alternative band that is just perfect for loud music lovers. If you’re into angry rock or love songs, muse is the band for you. The band simply plays GOOD MUSIC!

The band was formed in 1997 in Devon, England by three childhood friends:

  • Mathew Bellamy – Lead vocalist, guitarist and pianist
  • Chris Wolstenholme – Back vocalist, bass guitarist, keyboardist
  • Dominic Howard (a.k.a Dom Howard) – Drummer

The band is known for its innovative music and diverse lyrics which make it great for all tastes.

One of the boys, Matt Bellamy, comes from a musical family being the son of George Bellamy, rhythm guitarist of “The Tornadoes” a very successful ‘60s instrumental band, known to have affected several rock bands formed in the late ‘60s and the early ‘70s like The Who and the legendary Pink Floyd.

The band’s discography includes five albums

  1. Showbiz (1999)
  2. Origin of Symmetry (2001)
  3. Hullabaloo Soundtrack (2002)
  4. Absolution (2003)
  5. Black Holes & Revelation (2006)

Five extended plays (EPs):

  1. This is a Muse Demo (1995)
  2. Muse EP (1998)
  3. Muscle Museum EP (1999)
  4. Random 1-8 EP (2000)
  5. Deadstar – In Your World EP (2003)

In addition to a few acoustic sessions, radio performances, instrumental tracks, live shows and even a few covers. One more thing that makes this band extraordinary is the spectacular album art. Its album covers are beyond brilliant.

My recommendations would be:

Hysteria - Citizen Erased - Micro Cuts - Shrinking Universe - Butterflies & Hurricanes

And for the softies:

Unintended - Falling Away with You - Sing for Absolution - Endlessly

I used to dream of living in paradise
I dreamt of that maybe once or twice
so I asked some people but they gave me a weird advice
they told me "you should keep your heart as cold as ice ..
Or else your paradise will turn to be hell "
